Welcome to IELTS MasterClass Club!
We are an education support services platform under the aegis of EPT Advisors & Educators (RC: 695512) for registering and training candidates to prepare them to attain their score goals in English proficiency tests, including IELTS, TOEFL, OET, PTE, SAT, ACT, CELPIP, CAEL, and others.
These tests serve as proof of the English requirement for immigration visa applications for those looking to live, work, or study abroad.
1. Question: Where is the IELTS MasterClass Club venue located?
Answer: 22B Tunde Gabby Street, Ogba, Aguda (behind County Hospital), Lagos. Directions: Follow the road beside the hospital, turn left at the end of the road, and call 09035129019.
2. Question: When is your next class, and what are the requirements for joining?
Answer:
We run a flexible training program that accommodates enrollment at anytime with a cyclical curriculum that is designed for individual learners within a group setting.
In order to personalize your learning experience, it is necessary for you to take a diagnostic/pre test before joining the class. This test is designed to assess your current proficiency level in the English language, while also evaluating your strengths and weaknesses in the listening, reading, writing and speaking modules. Thus, allowing our instructors to tailor the training program to meet the individual needs and goals of each learner.
Following the test, you will receive a comprehensive report detailing the outcome of your performance. It is important to note that the purpose of this pre-test is not to validate your performance in the actual exam, but rather to assess the impact of your preparation and training.
The results of the pre-test primarily reflect your effort without the added benefits of training. It is not something to be overly concerned about, but rather an opportunity to anticipate the training and new knowledge that will make a substantial difference. It is also a valuable tool for measuring the impact of the training on your preparation process in comparison to your performance in a readness test, just before the examination.
Once your proficiency level has been evaluated, we will begin personalizing your preparation for the IELTS exam, starting with review sessions for the test questions you wrote answers to, introducing you to each of the modules, and progressing to conducting intentional practice sessions and analyzing some of the common mistakes you have made.
Throughout the program, your performance in these exercises will be carefully monitored to assess the effectiveness of the training.
3. Question: What types of classes do you have?
Answer:
i. Weekdays and Weekends Onsite Group Classes.
ii. Weekdays and Weekends Online Group Classes
iii. In-person, 1-1 private classes
4. Question: What is the duration of the training?
Answer:
i. Weekday Sessions: Classes are held three times a week for a period of one month.
ii. Weekend Sessions: Classes are held twice a week for a period of six weeks.
5. Question: How many classes do I have in total?
Answer: You will have twelve classes in total.
6. Question: What are the schedules and timelines for your classes?
Answer:
i. Weekday Onsite Group Classes: Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 10:00 a.m.–12:00 Noon.
ii. Weekend Onsite Group Classes: Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 Noon and Sundays from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
iii. Weekday Online Group Classes: Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, starting at 8:00 p.m.
iv. Weekend Online Classes: Saturdays, from 5: 00 pm–7: 00 p.m. and Sundays, from 5:00 p.m.–7: 00 p.m.
v. In-Person 1-1/Private Classes: Flexible and based on the client's preference.
7. Question: What are the fees for enrolling in your classes?
Answer:
i. The Onsite Group class is NGN 60, 000.
ii. The online group class is NGN 60, 000.
iii. The in-person 1-1 class cost starts from NGN 150, 000
NOTA BENE: CLASS SCHEDULE SUMMARY
Classes hold on:
WEEKDAYS: Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, from 10 a.m. to 12 Noon
WEEKENDS: Saturdays, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.; and Sundays, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
You are entitled to 12 classes, and you may choose to combine both weekday and weekend classes to achieve this.
8. Question: Does the training come with any study materials?
Answer: The training comes with soft and hard copy practice resource materials, and you don't have to pay for this.
9. Question: What do I bring with me for the training?
Answer: Writing materials and any storage device of your choice: a laptop, smart phone, hard drive, or flash drive.
The learning objectives related to the flexible curriculum are broad and aim to develop students' practice and study skills in listening, reading, writing, and speaking. However, through the lesson plan activities, these objectives can be realized.
10. Question: Does the training have a beneficial curriculum?
Answer: The training curriculum covers all four modules of the IELTS tests using a lot of intentional practice sessions that are analyzed and guaranteed to help learners get a high band score. Using the Council of Europe's CEFR scale as a reference point for IELTS MasterClass Club training objectives, our instructors ensure that candidates achieve proficiency with the following outcomes:
- Attain expert user status in writing, speaking, reading, and listening.
- Diagnose and overcome challenges presented in the exam assessment.
- Competently write credible answers to different academic essay types and evaluate and self-correct their speaking.
- Are prepared for the mechanics of the IELTS examination (time, order, format).
- Skim, scan, and effectively focus on target material in academic reading passages.
- Interpret and describe statistical data using appropriate language and grammar.
- Demonstrate an enhanced range of vocabulary in writing and speaking.
- Formulate, express, and defend opinions using appropriate vocabulary.
- Exhibit improved listening skills for comprehension and details.
